Karmanya ("we," "us," "our," or "Developer") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete your information when you use SideKick AI ("the App"), a mobile application built to help you reply to messages with AI-generated suggestions.
By using SideKick AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

Password (stored securely via Supabase Authentication — never stored in plaintext)

Uploaded Content:
Screenshots of chat conversations that you upload to generate reply suggestions
These images are used solely to extract the conversation text via AI and generate reply options for you. They are stored temporarily and deleted automatically within 24 hours.

Advertising Identifiers:
We use the Google Advertising ID (on Android) to serve and personalize advertisements within the App. You can reset or opt out of these identifiers through your device settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
4.1 Primary Uses
We use collected information to:

Authenticate your account and manage your session
Process uploaded screenshots to extract conversation text via AI
Generate reply suggestions based on extracted text and your selected tone
Enforce daily usage limits based on your plan (Free: 5 replies/day, Pro: unlimited replies)

Debug and fix technical issues
Optimize AI prompt performance

Detect and prevent fraudulent usage
Enforce plan limits and Terms of Service

4.2 What We Do NOT Do
We do not read, review, or store your conversations beyond what is required to generate replies
We do not use your screenshots or conversations to train AI models
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
5. Image Storage & Automatic Deletion
Your uploaded screenshots are stored in a dedicated Supabase storage bucket solely for the purpose of AI processing. We take the following steps to protect your privacy:
All uploaded images are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of upload via an automated cleanup script
Images are never shared with any third party beyond what is required to process them through our AI system
No human employee reviews your uploaded screenshots
We strongly recommend that you do not upload screenshots containing sensitive personal, financial, or medical information unrelated to the reply you are trying to generate.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
6.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.
6.2 When We Share Information
Service Providers:
Supabase: Authentication, database, and image storage. Data is processed in accordance with Supabase's Privacy Policy.
AI Processing (Google Gemini 2.5 Flash): Powers image-to-text extraction and reply generation. Uploaded screenshots are sent to Google Gemini 2.5 Flash for processing.
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads): Used to serve advertisements to users on our Free Plan. AdMob collects certain device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized and non-personalized ads. Both providers are used solely to operate and support the App.

To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Developer or App users

7. Data Storage and Security
7.1 Where We Store Data
Your account data is stored on Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure. Uploaded images are stored in a Supabase storage bucket and are subject to the 24-hour automatic deletion policy described in Section 5.
7.2 Security Measures
Technical Safeguards:
HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data
Secure password hashing via Supabase Auth
Automated image deletion script to minimize data retention
7.3 Data Retention
We retain your account data (email, usage history, plan tier) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Uploaded images are deleted within 24 hours regardless of account status. When you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Your Data Protection Rights
8.1 Access and Portability
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy in a structured format.
8.2 Correction and Updates
You can update your account information through the App settings at any time.
8.3 Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data. You can delete your account directly from the App settings. When you initiate deletion, your account is disabled immediately, and all associated data is permanently deleted from our systems by midnight of the same day. 8.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Opting out does not affect core service notifications such as plan usage alerts.

8.6 Advertising Opt-Out
You can opt-out of personalized advertising at any time by:

• iOS: Opening "Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Apple Advertising" > "Personalized Ads" (off)
9. Third-Party AI Processing
SideKick AI uses advanced large language models to perform two tasks:
Image-to-Text: Extracting the conversation text from your uploaded screenshot
Reply Generation: Generating reply suggestions based on the extracted text and your selected tone
By uploading a screenshot, you acknowledge that the image will be transmitted to Google Gemini 2.5 Flash for processing. Please review Google's AI data handling policies for details.
10. Children's Privacy
SideKick AI is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at karmanyasingh8@gmail.com.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, new features, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will:
